The Diocesan Development Board was re-constituted on August 29, 2009 during the first Session of the fourth Synod with the following members: Mr. Joe Wiafe as Chairman, Lord W. Pearce as Secretary, and Rt. Rev. Col. John K. Otoo, Ven. S.K. Addison, Ven. J.E Mensah, Mr. J.K Addison, Ms. Nana Yaa Ampadu-Asante, Mrs. Beatrice Biney, Mr. Harrison Akrofi, Mr. George Ato-Daniels, Mr. J.E. K. Abekah, Mr. Ben. Amofa, Mr. J. Raja Abban, Mr. Kwesi Sackey, Mrs. Philomena Edzie and Rev. Fr. Isaac A. Djakwah as members. Rev. Fr. Djakwah’s membership has since been replaced by Mr. Ben. Wryter with the former’s transfer to the Koforidua Diocese.

The current Board has been confronted with the challenge of coming out with an agenda to develop and grow the Diocese under an umbrella of unity deep-rooted in our slogan i.e. Stand Firm in the Faith. The need for a Strategic Development Plan has been advocated which would call for a redefinition of the ultimate VISION and MISSION statement for the Diocese. With very little finance to support any development programme, the Board together with the Diocesan Finance Board spent most of the time deriving and formulating short and medium term plans that will improve revenue mobilization and position the Diocese to source funding from donor agencies. The following are some of the programmes that have been dealt with during the period.
