Diocesan Offices

The Board has undertaken the first phase of the renovation and refurbishment of the former
Cathedral Office. New offices have now been provided for the Bishop, Diocesan Secretary and Diocesan Treasurer with toilet facilities. The furnishing is, however, not complete and individual members/parishes are urged to contribute or make donations to assist. The second phase of the renovation exercise to provide a reception area, secretary’s office and a Board / Conference room would be embarked upon in the New Year. On a visit to the new offices, one would find the Lord Bishop comfortably accommodated in his new office.

Sachet Water Project

The Board realized the need to undertake a project which would in the short term generate revenue to support other development projects. The Sachet Water project which was initiated by the Board after a Feasibility study by a Board Sub-Committee reported the viability of the project, was taken over and implemented by the Good Shepherd Parish in the Takoradi Archdeaconry. Market has been readily available especially from the Anglican schools in the metropolis alone. The Parish with support by some individual members provided the needed capital for the start-up. After an initial supervision challenges the project has so far been very successful.
