Presenting the items, Venerable Joseph Emmanuel Mensah, Archdeacon in charge of Saint Peters Anglican Church in Tarkwa, said the Saint Stephens, Saint Peters and Saint Paul’s Anglican churches all contributed in donating the items to the orphanage home.
He said the donation forms part of activities marking the 30 years anniversary celebration of the church adding that as a Christian organization they were motivated by the call of Jesus Christ to help the poor and needy in the society.
He said it was appropriate for Christians to cultivate the habit of demonstrating the love of God to the less privileged in the society.
Venerable Mensah expressed the hope that the items would help alleviate plight of the home.
